Our Own Cosmos
Almost 3 years ago I started this self-portrait, I was never ready to finish it, I made adjustments here and there every several months. The experiences of each moment shaped the picture according to what I felt at the time, but I was never close to being satisfied. After so much time, I feel that I can finally consider it finished.
Throughout our lives we have always faced difficult situations. When we believe that things start to improve, something negative happens again and makes us question about absolutely everything. Sometimes we see ourselves submerged, without a loophole, like being enclosed in four walls that shrink with the passage of time. You think in a thousand ways to find the exit, but you know that you must remain.
When we believe that things start to improve, something negative happens again and makes us question about absolutely everything.
And so, each of these thoughts becomes a universe of possibilities, possibilities that allow us to stand up after each fall. Because we will be rushing to the ground, it is normal; what defines us and forges, are the times we decided to stand up and leave. The scratches will be marked and at some point everything will be repeated because although the mind is made of stone, the heart is made of glass.
Cosmos.
